Prof Dr Yasin SÖYLER

Prof. Dr. Yasin Söyler specializes in administrative sanctions, public personnel law, administrative liability for damages, food law, and environmental law. His work focuses particularly on administrative acts and sanction regimes, disciplinary proceedings concerning public personnel, administrative liability, food counterfeiting and adulteration, zoning and urban transformation practices, and environmental regulations.

Biography

Professor Yasin Söyler graduated from the Faculty of Law at Ankara University in 2004. He completed his master’s degree at the Faculty of Law at Gazi University, where he also completed his PhD in 2013. He began his career in public administration in 2005 as an Assistant Prime Ministry Expert at the Prime Ministry and subsequently served for many years as a Prime Ministry Expert. Following the abolition of the Prime Ministry in 2018, he was appointed as a Rapporteur at the General Directorate of Law and Legislation of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye. During this period, he actively contributed to numerous legislative and regulatory drafting processes. In 2020, he was appointed Associate Professor to the Department of Administrative Law at the Faculty of Law of Social Sciences University of Ankara (SSUA/ASBU) and was appointed Professor in 2024. Professor Söyler currently serves as Vice Rector of SSUA, as well as a member of the University Senate, a member of the Administrative Board, and Chair of the Ethics Committee.
